SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

Hosted by Cat Deeley, America’s favorite summer series, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE travels across the country to Chicago, Dallas, Nashville, New York, Los Angeles and Miami, in search of dancers who represent the best in America. Those who shine during auditions are given a ticket to Las Vegas for callbacks. During Vegas week, the top twenty dancers are chosen to return to Los Angeles and compete in front of a live studio audience. Dancers are paired up with each other and then each pair chooses a dance style out of a hat to learn and perfect each week.

Styles can vary from Hip Hop, Krumping and Popping to Salsa, Quickstep and Jive.

After every competition show, the public votes on their favorite dancers in hopes of saving them from being voted off on the following night, putting them one step closer to be named America’s Favorite Dancer.
